Message from Ms. Ransom concerning Mock AP Exams:
Your percent correct on the mock AP Exam (actual questions from last year's AP Bio Exam) is recorded in PowerSchool. I did not curve these grades, nor do they count in your average. I also made a column for estimated AP exam score (1-5) to give you an idea about how you would do on the actual exam based on your performance. Remember, this is just an estimate because the real exam will also include a free response section that will count as 50% of your entire exam score. Based on last year's results, a percent correct of 78 or higher was a 5, between 64 and 77 was a 4, between 45 and 63 was a 3, between 26 and 44 was a 2, and anything below 26 was a 1. Last year's students averaged 61% correct on the multiple choice/grid in section.
Ask Mr. Anderson a question!
Paul Anderson (of Bozeman Science fame) will be making a final AP Bio review video to be uploaded before this year's exam. He is asking students to submit any questions that they might have and he will answer as many of them as possible in the final video. If you have a question, submit it on his google form:
Mr. Anderson's Google Form for Final AP Bio Review Video
Submit your questions by Wednesday, May 7 so that he has time to record and upload the video before the May 12th exam. ***Update on 5/9/14*** The final video can be found below.
